It did pay off.  Duncan was not sure what to think about his younger brother being photographed, so I just observed and shot … and observed and shot.  Now, we are designing yet another creative birth announcment.

Kayla Grace and Andrew http://morelandphoto.com/blog/kayla-grace-and-andrew/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/kayla-grace-and-andrew/#comments Sun, 02 May 2010 11:49:06 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=341 When Christina called me about photographing her twins, I knew it would be a challenge to capture the perfect shot with both babies at the same time.  Well, patience paid off and we got some wonderful shots, as you will see below, of a gorgeous family.

I just had to start off with this shot!  It is priceless!

Ainsley http://morelandphoto.com/blog/stromquist/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/stromquist/#comments Wed, 14 Apr 2010 14:29:02 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/stromquist/ Actual history was going to be created today!  When little Ainsley’s mother was one year old, she was photographed in the same gown Ainsley is wearing in the first photograph.  Our challenge was to shoot a re-creation of her Mom’s pose – and the Ainsley portrait would be placed next to her mother’s baby portrait.

After the detail work was done, we just let the happy little girl roam around and play.  She cooperated and the results of these captured moments pleased everyone.

She was not walking yet but she sure was trying!

Winter Rose http://morelandphoto.com/blog/winter-rose/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/winter-rose/#comments Mon, 12 Apr 2010 20:22:54 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=78 Truly as sweet as her name, Winter Rose came to our studio so ready to model. The first thing I noticed when Mom brought her in had to be those big blue eyes!! She was great and gave us an  incredilbe look everytime she looked at us and I never had to pull out my plan B (Smarties).  The main focus was on Winter but Mom is also pregnant and due the first part of May so we did a few maternity shots and hope to show you some new updated shots when the new arrival is here.  All shot at our studio

When Rose started to get a little fussy we just gave her what would make any girl happy… some Pearls!

It was too cute- Dad would say “Touchdown” and this is what I got….

Dad is a big football fan so when he would say “touch down”, Winter would through up her hands.
