Jenna’s Bridal Shower http://morelandphoto.com/blog/jennas-bridal-shower/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/jennas-bridal-shower/#comments Fri, 28 Oct 2011 02:14:28 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=2425 What kind I say about Jenna’s bridal shower, other than it was absolutely amazing.  Brittany gave Jenna a once in a lifetime shower in Naples at Jenna’s parents home.  Their beautiful home in Naples, FL was the ideal setting and everybody that walked into the front door was immediately walking into a shower that was full of elegance, great food, fun games and best friends. I will just let the pictures speak for themselves, just enjoy.

Caylee is always happy and full of energy………….her energy is contagious. Yes, it was a day traveling all over town, but it was so worth it to capture her  magnificent day. We were at her home, Piedmont Park, all over Atlanta with the guys, the church, the reception site, and finally ending up at  the St. Regis. All of these locations gave us ample time to capture magical  moments and not be rushed.  It was simple, they just had fun!!!!!!!!!  And really isn’t that what it is ALL about??  Have a look at the images of this incredible wedding …………….Congratulations Caylee and Steve!

Kimberly & Joseph, Peachtree Club http://morelandphoto.com/blog/kimberly-joseph-peachtree-club/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/kimberly-joseph-peachtree-club/#comments Sun, 03 Jul 2011 00:04:24 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=2190 Kimberly and Joseph’s special day had all of the details of any “Dream Wedding” you could ever imagine!! Every detail was perfect– from her Louboutin shoes– to the incredible view at the Peachtree Club– breathless from the minute you walked into the room.  Eliana, with EllyB Events did a superb job shaping Kimberly and Joseph’s “Dream” into REALITY. Then, we at Moreland Photography  set out to capture the feel and flavor of the most “SPECIAL DAY” of their lives.  We were at five different locations fulfilling and documenting their “DREAM”, even going to the High Museum on the way to the reception because this has been a very special place for them!!!  Their first dance on the terrace– at sunset was the” icing “on the proverbial wedding cake for this amazing wedding!!!!

Allyson & Nathan, Primrose Cottage http://morelandphoto.com/blog/allyson-nathan-primrose-cottage/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/allyson-nathan-primrose-cottage/#comments Sat, 02 Jul 2011 22:50:19 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=2314 Primrose Cottage in Roswell is such a beautiful, serene place to have a wedding.  The day and the weather could not have been more perfect for Allyson and Nathan.  We started at the bride’s parents house and captured some wonderful moments with her family and bridesmaids that would have been missed if we were only shooting at one location.  Simultaneously, the groom, his family and groomsmen were getting candid coverage as well.  After everyone convened at Primrose, some serious fun was had capturing images of this wonderful couple in this amazing venue.  The outdoor ceremony at dusk is a prime time for gallery quality shots and the transition to the reception was flawless.  Best wishes to Allyson and Nathan on their new life together.

Crystal & Lee, Biltmore Atlanta http://morelandphoto.com/blog/crystal-lee-biltmore-atlanta/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/crystal-lee-biltmore-atlanta/#comments Sat, 02 Jul 2011 22:36:53 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=2152 Crystal was so excited and that excitement radiated in every image of this special day.  When you combine that excitement with The Biltmore as your backdrop, the images you capture are truly spectacular.  We started out at the hotel with the bride and our intention was to be “the fly on the wall” to memorialize all the unplanned, unscripted moments of this wedding day.  One especially poignant moment was photographing Crystal, as she wrote a special note to Lee on this their wedding day!! Join in the celebration as you view the images that follow;  amazed at all of the details…… this was one no less than incredible.

Danielle & Ryan, Carlyle House http://morelandphoto.com/blog/danielle-ryan-carlyle-house/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/danielle-ryan-carlyle-house/#comments Sat, 02 Jul 2011 22:22:37 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=2272 We started this couples amazing journey at the rehearsal dinner at Danielle’s parents home. I always love to be part of the rehearsal, so we can get to know everyone.  Despite the very heavy rain, everything was amazing and beautiful! The day of the wedding was full of the most beautiful details; Edge Design Group did a fabulous job!  We captured so many special moments and tears (there were plenty of tears!!!!!!). But, this group also knew how to have fun at the reception!!! Just follow the photos to experience Danielle and Ryan’s wonderful story…………

We walked around downtown Norcross with the groom and groomsmen and let them just have fun,  Which they were very good at!

We set up a special moment for Danielle to see her father for the first time in her wedding dress.  It was a very emotional time and very special.

moments before the start of the ceremony:  Danielle with mom and dad

Look at the incredible arbor of flowers Edge Design Group created.

No this is not the lobby of their hotel, this is the living room inside their hotel suite. It was unbelievable!

A One of a kind wedding album! http://morelandphoto.com/blog/a-one-of-a-kind-wedding-album/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/a-one-of-a-kind-wedding-album/#comments Fri, 25 Feb 2011 14:09:41 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=1825 We just had a presentation of a wedding album that was truly “One of a kind”!  I had photographed Christen and Hartley’s wedding at Montaluce – but their photography coverage did not start there.  The beginning:  Christen’s mother had called me when she found out her daughter was going to be engaged and wanted me to capture that part of their story.   The photography of the proposal was very special, as were the engagement parties, bridal shoot, rehearsal dinner and obviously the wedding day.

Next, we started the terrific project of putting their story together.  Karen Casey is not only the mother of the bride but a top wedding consultant and a very creative, remarkable person.  Christen and Hartley’s wedding has been published in multiple magazines and even won an Allie award, so their album had to be outstanding and very special.  My graphic-designer cousin, Teresa, worked with Karen in designing the bride and groom’s story … this 84-page book is really a book!

Karen and her other daughter, Shanda, wrote a book  about Christen and Hartley’s love story - Teresa designed it and we blended pictures with text and graphics into the most fantastic wedding book ever.  The love-story album’s title is “And The Journey Begins” and features a table of contents, incredible design by Teresa Moreland, handcrafting by Azura Albums … and of course, there was great photography, naturally.  Karen wanted to do a special unveiling ceremony, so a group of close friends and family met where it all began – Montaluce – and there was a presentation at the lake where their wedding ceremony took place.  Then, we went to Karen and Mike’s beautiful home in the hilltops of Georgia’s Cleveland for a wonderful dinner.  What a fitting celebration for truly the great beginning of a journey!

The  box for their wedding book was designed, built and hand-carved by Christen’s father!  This is the tree that is seen throughout the book.

Below are a only just a few pages from their 84-page, spectacular wedding book …

The beautiful album had several divider pages inside.

Teresa also designed some mini-books which Karen presented to family and friends attending this special presentation.

Alison and Josh http://morelandphoto.com/blog/alison-and-josh/ http://morelandphoto.com/blog/alison-and-josh/#comments Wed, 26 Jan 2011 04:13:55 +0000 admin http://morelandphoto.com/blog/?p=1782  I can’t say enough about Alison and Josh … they’re really the most genuine people you’ll ever meet.  When we did their engagement shoot, it was one of the best sessions ever.  We then designed a fantastic guest book with some of the pictures.  The wedding date finally arrived.   It had been so hot every day leading up to the main event - and everyone knew Josh and hot weather didn’t get along.  However, on this day the temperature dropped and the sky was deep blue … and we were at the Botanical Gardens – so,  it just doesn’t get better than this.  I hope you enjoy this photographic sampling of a most beautiful Alison and Josh wedding.
