Senior Experience

Wow!  What is more fun than being a High School Senior?? It’s a great time to be young and carefree….so you definitely don’t want to miss the opportunity to capture that spirit on film.  Here at Moreland Photography, we really don’t believe in the “cookie-cutter” philosophy of photography, we want to capture each individuals unique character and personality.  So, here Rebecca chose her clothes and we went out on location to capture free-spirited, fun-loving images that she will cherish forever!!  Rebecca attended Mill Springs Academy and will be a freshman at Reinhardt College.  Just for a bit of added fun, the last photo is of Rebecca and her sister, Jamie!  Good Luck Rebecca!!

Lexi’s first two years

After doing Michelle and Matt’s maternity shoot, we also photographed their daughter Lexi at one year of age … and also at two years.  Michelle wanted us to design a book – which we love doing – and best of all she gave us complete creative freedom, which we really love.  Brittany designed an amazing book!  Although the book’s text may be a little hard to read on this blog,  it really adds to the story.

Clarissa’s Senior Book

Clarissa is the senior that traveled from Rome for a photographic session of her senior year - previously posted.  You may recall that it was the shoot where we did some amazing shots at the studio, around Roswell - even a “trash the prom dress” shoot.  Clarissa’s mother also wanted us to design a coffee-table book from the session and make it into a story.  There were so many images that we all loved.  So, with that mission in mind, one incredible senior book was created.  Thanks to Teresa for designing this fantastic book of the highest caliber!

“Alice in Wonderland” Christmas

Carol Ann had a vision – as she does every year – for her Christmas card.  This year, she wanted me to create Alice in Wonderland’s “Un-Birthday” for her card.  So of course, we needed specialized props … and Carol Ann is never short of unique props.  She came with cupcakes, multiple tablecloths, an antique tea set, linens – you name it, she had it.  We even talked her into bringing her wingback chair from home to just about complete the look.  Then, I found a table and a chair along with the perfect setting.  The rest you can view for yourselves.  We had such a great time and got some wonderful shots!  At the end of this post is Carol Ann’s finished Christmas card, very original and one of my favorites of the year… a vertical card, folding in the center,  is a double panel which opens up.  The last shot is the back of the card.  Thanks again to Teresa for designing such an original card.

Elizabeth

Everytime I do a shoot with Elizabeth, I know I’ll have some terrific new portfolio images on my website.  She has the most amazing eyes … and with the hats – just look below and you’ll understand why Elizabeth is such a favorite model of mine.  At the end of the post is a Christmas card we designed from this session.  Their card every year is always among my favorites.  This particular one is an accordian card – very cool – you’re seeing its two panels flat for the purpose of this blog.
