It’s not easy to get a teenager to willingly wake up and be camera ready before 6:30 in the morning, but one Roswell senior was more than happy to step up to the challenge of a sunrise High School Portrait session! Livi is the cheer captain at Roswell High School, and is all around super sweet and bubbly. We started her early morning shoot at the lake as the sun was rising. The early start gave us lots of opportunities to take different pictures with the sunrise, without dying in 90 degree heat.

In one part of the lake, there is a sandbar that you can stand on without having to be right near the shore. We took a couple pictures there, and then proceeded to take some more pictures around the lake. Livi’s upbeat personality made her a pleasure to photograph – she was always smiling and cheerful whether the camera was pointed at her or not!

After the lake we headed out to a grass field to incorporate a little bit of Roswell senior cheerleading into Livi’s pictures. We shot some portrait images first, and then came the fun. We had Livi pose as the letters of her name while holding her pom poms, and at the end had her jumping in the air to make an exclamation point!

From a Sunrsie senior to Sunflowers, our next location was probably Livi’s favorite: a sunflower field. Sunflowers are Livi’s favorite flowers, so of course we had to include them in our shoot! It turns out we had scheduled Livi’s senior pictures on just the right day, because it was the last day of the year that the sunflower field was open! We walked through the sunflowers and got some great shots of Livi smiling and enjoying herself, and then we stopped by the barn to take some pictures there.

Livi was so much fun to photograph, and we wish her the best for her senior year!
