Our Marietta photographer and assistants had fun photographing Katrina Horowitz for her senior shoot experience! Katrina attends The Walker School in Marietta. She works hard behind the stage at every play, making sure that everything runs smoothly for those on stage. Katrina also loves Disney, which we could see clearly because she is quite the character. She loves to talk, is very sweet, and would have deep conversations with us as we were shooting.

During Katrina’s consultation we learned about what she desired to see in her senior pictures. It was immediately clear that she was leaning towards an urban feel, so that’s exactly what we pursued! During the shoot we went to four different locations around Buckhead and Atlanta. Buckhead has always been known for it’s upscale malls and lavish but urban feel. In fact, Buckhead contains the highest concentration of upscale shops in the United States! To go right along with the theme, she decided to dress it up a little and was photographed in her blue and white mermaid cut prom dress. Because we have two photographers at the scene, we were able to capture different angles of the same poses. Next, we explored Atlanta and found some really hip graffiti walls, murals, and designs on buildings. We ended Katrina’s Walker School Senior Photography shoot at Centennial Park. Centennial Park is is a 21-acre public park located in downtown Atlanta. It is very well known for the Ferris Wheel, and Park Fountain Show that showcases an array of lights among blasts of artistically timed water.  We captured this exciting display and shot some very dramatic pictures with bright lights highlighting Katrina under a night sky (a perfect way to end the shoot).

Katrina aims to complete four different shoots during the four seasons. This is a brilliant way to capture the warm colors of fall, the cool colors of winter, the light and new flowering of spring, and the bright sunshine of summer. We were elated to capture Katrina’s vibrant smile and hope she has a great senior year!
