We have photographed the Miller family many times over the years. When they came to us wanting to do a family shoot, we knew that we wanted to do something different. We found an amazing location with a beautiful view of the skyline for these Atlanta family portraits. Our goal was to make the session as fun and interesting as possible for the entire family.

We took these photos on top of a helicopter pad that also doubles as a wedding venue in Atlanta that overlooks Centennial Park. It was an amazing location and you could see the entire Atlanta skyline. The family consists of three children and their parents, and we couldn’t forget Grandma.

Some photos that we took were traditional family photos, but we wanted to have some fun shots too.

We did a wide variety of shots. We wanted to showcase every relationship in the family, so we did some photos of just the girls, some of just the boys, some of just the kids, some of just Mom and Dad, and some of Grandma with everyone.

These Atlanta family portraits we did with the Millers were a lot of fun! We were blessed with beautiful weather, which only made a more beautiful backdrop for this wonderful family.

We stayed at the location for quite a bit and were able to get some shots in the daylight, some at sunset, and some at nightfall. There was plenty of opportunity for beautiful backgrounds and some amazing lighting situations.
