First and foremost allow me to introduce myself, my name is Zoe Antona, and this is a Moreland Photography Blog takeover! For you to really get to know who I am I must let you know I’m a girl on the go; I am always looking for the next adventure and experience. From the time I was young I was always outside exploring, playing lacrosse, or spending time at the barn. Having lived in the greater Atlanta area for all my 18 years and recently graduated from Roswell High School, Atlanta is home to me. With a major part of my life coming to a close I wanted to have my Senior photo shoot commemorate my achievements as well as reflect who I am as a person before I go off to college at the University of Cincinnati. When I initially met Mr. Moreland and Tiffany they took the time to get to know my story and their goal was to have my senior shoot reflect who I am, and I must say the whole experience as well as the end photos exceeded my expectations. Not only were we able to go above and beyond to capture my story, Mike gave me many options from doing a underwater shoot to shooting in the snow!
To start I wanted to go to one of my favorite spots growing up in Roswell, the Roswell Mill! Arriving there super early was worth it because there was hardly anyone there and we had total access to the most beautiful parts of the mill including the waterfall. If you know me I love to shop for the clothes you don’t find everyday, so being able to wear the most trendy outfits I couldn’t wear anywhere else in my shoot to express myself was even more fun!
Growing up a very active child I channeled a lot of my energy riding horses and working in barns around the area. It was only fitting to further tell my story by heading over to the barn where there we were able to shoot among the horses and the wild yellow flowers. Mike even brought along the cutest couch that we placed in the middle of the paddock that made it even more creative!
As if Mike hadn’t captured my story already we then headed to downtown Atlanta where I am known to shop, try new restaurants, and even spend time in Piedmont park. At this location I was able to not only dress up nice and Mike captured the city skyline in the background I was able to rep my college and my sport as well. In the 3rd grade I started playing lacrosse and I have the opportunity to continue my lacrosse career in college playing for the University of Cincinnati! So Mike suggested I bring along my lacrosse stick and college colors.
Thought my senior shoot is over here? Nope! When Mike presented me with the opportunity to do an under water senior shoot I couldn’t pass up the opportunity and the results were incredible.
With the seasons changing and the weather cooling off 2017 going into 2018 if you were in Atlanta during the time we had a snow storm. You better believe we captured more pictures for my senior shoot! I was even able to get some studio images for my senior shoot as well!
And for my final senior shoot come spring time my final senior shoot was at Barrington Hall in Roswell with a good friend of mine!
Thank you Moreland Photography for all you guys have done for me!
