Two years ago, I photographed a Kings Ridge senior named Anna Kate, who dreamed of going to UGA. Now she’s a student at UGA, and her younger sister, Lily, is next in line. Lily is a Cambridge senior and didn’t want her senior shoot to be like her sister’s; she wanted it to be unique. With that in mind, we focused Lily’s shoot around nature and beauty with some textured accents. We also decided to break up Lily’s shoot across two seasons: summer and fall. So far we have only shot the summer shoot, but we can’t wait until fall to pick right back up again!
For Lily’s “Part A” of her Cambridge senior shoot, we began on a river. We took shots by some small waters falls and on some rocks in the shallows with Lily. Next, we set up to get a few family oriented shots. Lily is a middle daughter, and her older and younger sister may not always get along great. Lily acts as the “great mediator” between the two of them. It was cute to see her and her sisters interact in this way as we shot some photos with Lily and her two sisters.
For our second location with Part A of Lily’s senior pictures, we went to a bridge with these huge, large, beams supporting it to get that sort of textured look. We had hoped to take more pictures of Lily and her sisters at the bridge, but we ran into a slight problem. By the time we had arrived, both sisters were passed out asleep in the car!
All in all, we enjoyed shooting with Lily for Part A of her senior pictures. She is so fun and sweet, and we can’t wait until we see her again in the peak of fall!
