We were so excited to explore some of Georgia’s popular locations with Alex Meyers during his Ponce City Market Senior Shoot. Although he graduated in 2017, he never took his Senior pictures! So, we decided to go big and do two separate shoots with four different locations. During his consultation we quickly found out that Alex has a keen eye for design and was even Cambridge High School’s 2017 Yearbook Editor. He is now a Freshman at Georgia State University studying Architecture, and demonstrated his love of design through some of the various locations he chose.

Alex has always loved the lake, and family has always been a big part of his life. So, for his first location we decided to shoot at Lake Lanier. This was a perfect way of commemorating all of the past fun filled family vacations that he has had there. We paired his love of the lake (and of his truck) in a shoot on the banks and many docks of the Lanier. This shoot took place during the summer, peak boating season, so it was easy to feel the contagious rush of excitement in the air while we were shooting.

We decided to wait a little bit for the next session, as the summer months can get hot and early fall was just around the corner. Needless to say, it was worth the wait! Our second shoot took place at three different locations of Alex’s choosing. The first was at the Swan House in Buckhead. Cambridge High School’s 2017 Prom took place at this historic 15 acres of mansion and gardens. We then traveled to Ponce City Market. Ponce is popular among people of all ages for it’s eclectic vibe, fine dining, and urban build. We explored Ponce in pursuit of the best locations to get dynamic angles and backgrounds for unique pictures. Our third and final location was at Centennial Park, where we photographed a plethora of eye capturing moments with the fountain lights and Ferris Wheel. Overall this shoot was full of adventure, and we are so glad he decided to go on this Ponce City Market Senior Shoot!
